Richard 'Rick' Turner

Richard "Rick" Turner, age 59, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Evelyn Turner, and sister, Linda Turner. He is survived by his wife of twenty-five years, Janice Myers Turner, Lawrenceville, GA; sister, Judith Turner Fine, FL; mother-in-law, Mildred Myers, Gardendale, AL; brother-in-law, Tom and Katie Myers, Cedar Hill, TX; sister-in-law, Dona Myers, McKinney, TX and niece, Taylor Myers. Mr. Turner was born April 23, 1955 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He was a graduate of Canfield High School and attended junior college in Ocala, FL. He was a realtor with Chapman Hall Realtors in Suwanee, GA. He was a member of Johns Creek Baptist Church. He was an Eagle Scout and he enjoyed going to Lake Lanier and boating. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Myers officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Richard "Rick" Turner.
