James Arthur Northcutt

James Arthur Northcutt, 77, of Morrow, GA passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, FL.

He was born in Grundy County, Tennessee and was the son of the late John Lawson Northcutt, Sr. and Lucy Catherine Rust Northcutt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving and caring wife, Laverne Lesel Beck Northcutt in 2011 and a son, Randal Miller Northcutt.

Jim is survived by two daughters Denise Northcutt Newby of Rome, GA, Sherrie Northcutt Eubanks of Brentwood, TN; one son, Timothy Northcutt of Hendersonville, TN; two step-daughters, Kathi Jones Stensland, and Aundrea Jones Wilson and husband William, all of Locust Grove GA; one brother, John L. Northcutt. Jr of Tucson, AZ; twelve grandchildren, Michael Stensland, Eva Wilson, Nathan Wilson, Tara Newby Demico, Brandon Newby, Justin Newby, Jessica Northcutt Burgess, Ann Alyse Northcutt Barclay, MaKensie Northcutt, Molly Northcutt, Kaitlin Eubanks, Haley Eubanks.

He was a retired Air Traffic Control Supervisor with the FAA and served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.

The family will receive friends at Beck Funeral Home from 6 PM to 8 PM, Wednesday, April 30, 2014. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Battle Branch Baptist Church with Pastor Madison McCrackin and Rev. Bill Gravley officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Methodist Church Cemetery, Clayton, GA.
