William Ralph Wright

William Ralph Wright, age 86, of Cornelia, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014.
Born in Habersham County on December 18, 1927, he was a son of the late John Newton Wright and Mary Etta Ivie Wright. Mr. Wright was a retired plant manager with Shur Gain Feeds in Cartersville, Georgia and was of the Pentecostal faith. He was mechanically inclined and enjoyed tinkering.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Wright was also preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Marjorie Nix Wright; sister, Lynette Wiley as well as an infant sister; granddaughter, Terri Denise Wright; great granddaughter, Hope Christian.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, William Michael and Carolyn Wright of Cornelia and John Mark and Lisa Wright of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Henry Higgins of Woodstock; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. Scott Ledbetter officiating. Interment will follow in Enon Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the service hour on Tuesday at the funeral home.
