Mrs. Sally Roena Watkins, age 85 of Cleveland. Mrs. Watkins passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00pm Thursday, May 1, 2014 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Phillip Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in Gateway Memory Park with Rev. Robert Nix officiating .

Sally was born in Clermont, Georgia on October 29, 1928 to the late Ed Nix and Carrie Alberson Nix. She was a homemaker and longtime member of Timberidge Baptist Church. Sally loved to be outdoors, one of her favorite pastimes was gardening, but she also loved her family, she took this seriously as she supported her husband, the late Rev. Willis Watkins in his many years of ministry. In addition to her husband and parents, Sally is preceded in death by her sisters, Mable Nix, Lounette Nix, Lilly Nix and brothers, Walter NIx, J.R. Nix, Edward Nix, Ernest Nix and Homer Nix

Survivors include her daughter, Donna Walden (Tommy), Clermont, sons, Larry Watkins (Linda), Cleveland, Terry Watkins (Ellen) Cleveland,Gary Watkins (Diane)Lula, in addition she is survived by her 7 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren

The family will recieve friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 to 8pm. Flowers will be acknowledged, however memorial donations are requested to be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th fl., New York, NY 10001
