Rosie Hyde Reeves

Mrs. Rosie Hyde Reeves, age 89, of Dahlonega, GA died Wednesday, April 23, 2014.

Mrs. Reeves was born in Dawsonville, GA June 26, 1924. She lived in Lumpkin County for the past 16 years and was a former resident of Sandy Springs, GA. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

Rosie was the daughter of the late Jessie and Bessie Hyde and was also preceded in death by her husband, James Owen Reeves; and an infant son, James Owen Reeves Jr.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Rose and Mitch Phillips, Auburn, GA, Cissy Reeves, Dahlonega, GA, and Debbie and John Brannon, Newnan, GA; grandchildren, Adam, Amanda, Jimmy, Wade, Doug, and Mick. Several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and other relatives also survive.

In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. Reeves was cremated and no services are planned at this time.
