Hortense Welborn Eller

Funeral services for Hortense Welborn Eller, age 82, of Clarkesville, will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 28, 2014 from the Stonepile Baptist Church. Rev. Connie Berry will officiate with interment to follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, April 27, 2014 from 6-9 PM.

Mrs. Eller died Saturday, April 26, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Habersham County on September 28, 1931, Mrs. Eller was the daughter of the late Sanford and Fronnie Worley Welborn. She was a homemaker and a member of Stonepile Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Eller is preceded in death by her beloved husband Claude Eller, infant daughter Linda Eller, brothers Paul Welborn and Earl Welborn, and daughter in law Sandra Rice Eller.

Survivors include sons Tommy Eller, Tim and Becky Eller, Terry and Martha Eller, Tony Eller, and Chris and Brandy Eller all of Clarkesville, daughters Carolyn Sue and Sparky Daniel of Demorest, Sharon and Joe Barron of Clarkesville, and Sarah and Mark Ivester of Hollywood, as well as 22 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
