Lorenzo Stewart, Sr.

Ret. Sgt. U.S. Air Force Lorenzo Stewart, Sr., age 82, of Buford, GA passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2014.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Millie Clark Stewart. He is survived by children, Lorenzo Stewart, Jr., Panama City, FL, Harold Dale Stewart, Conyers, GA, Charmyne Stewart, Buford, GA, Kenneth Stewart, Sr., Buford, GA and Lisa Betties, Buford, GA; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mr. Stewart was born April 22, 1932 in Marion, AL. He was a 1949 graduate of Selma High School in Selma, AL and a graduate of Miles College. He lived in Panama City, FL from 1973 to 2003. He was retired from the U. S. Air Force and he worked at shipyards and Cofer Moulding Co. in Panama City, FL. He was an avid Braves fan.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Harry Jackson officiating.
