Johnathen 'John' Satterfield

Johnathen "John" Satterfield, 17, of Gainesville passed away April 23, 2014.

Born January 1, 1997, John was a lifelong resident of Hall County. He was a junior at Chestatee High School and enjoyed participating in chorus and playing football. He especially liked spending time with his friends and he attended the Athens Highway Church of Christ.

Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Felecia and Cecil Padgett, Gainesville; father and stepmother, Charles and Kay Satterfield, Oakwood; sister, Angel Satterfield, Dawsonville; brothers and sister in law, Charles "Chuck" Satterfield, Cleveland, Charles "Lucas" and Darby Satterfield, Athens; nieces, Lilly Satterfield, Emma Satterfield, Alexandra Satterfield; nephews, Hunter Satterfield, Hayden Satterfield, Hagen Satterfield; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Sunday April 27, 2014 at 4 o'clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Mike Thomas and Rev. Glenn Ladd will officiate. Interment will follow in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 1 until 4 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to assist with final expenses.
