Emmette Eugene Crowe

Emmette Eugene Crowe, age 80 of Gainesville, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at his residence following an extended illness.


Private memorial services will be held at a later date.


Mr. Crowe was born April 4, 1934 in Cumming, Georgia to the late J. M. Crow and Avis Reynolds Crow. He was retired from EKG Security and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Crowe was preceded in death by his parents, his daughters, Shirley Goforth and Rose Hulsey and granddaughter, Lillie Goforth.

Mr. Crowe is survived by his son, Mike Crow of Cornelia, daughter, Maryanne Sanborn of Gainesville, son & daughter-in-law, Clay & Anna Lisa Crow of Flowery Branch, sister, Doris Burch of Ocala, Florida and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives survive.
