Regina Lee Clark Warriner

Regina Lee Clark Warriner, 38, of Rabun Gap, GA passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Mountain Lakes Medical Center.
She was born in Crossnore, NC and was the daughter of Richard Clark and Wanda Brown Clark. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving husband, Dr. Michael Wayne Warriner, one brother, Richard Mason "Perk" Clark of Elk Park, NC; and two sisters, Amy Buchanan of Newland, NC and Ginger Buchanan of Elk Park, NC.
Mrs. Warriner was a member of Alpha Delta Kappa; she graduated from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC; received her Masters Degree in Macon, GA; a Specialist Degree from Piedmont, and a Specialist Degree from North Georgia College and State University. She worked for over 12 years at Rabun County Schools and was recently promoted to become Director of Student Services. Mrs. Warriner was also named Teacher of the Year for Rabun County Elementary School in 2008. She enjoyed running and biking, crafts and baking. She was a member of Clayton Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and was a Missionary in Australia for one year.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4:30 PM, Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Clayton Baptist Church with Pastor Joey Thompson officiating.
