Dorothy Nell Thomas

Dorothy Nell Thomas, 75, of Gainesville, passed away at Grady Hospital on April 16, 2014. She was born on January 15, 1939. A lifetime resident of Hall County, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Eula Lee Wofford Garner. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Billy Joe Thomas.

She is survived by her daughter, Lanelle Thomas of Cleveland, GA; sisters, Carolyn Cochran of Gainesville, Mary Jane Harkins of Hiawassee, Shirley Clinton of Gainesville, Corine Morrison of Dawsonville; brothers, Wayne Garner and James Garner both of Gainesville.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday April 18, 2014 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. Mike Garner and Rev. Jeff Garner will officiate. Interment will be in Yellow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home on Thursday, April 17, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
