Maggie Day Green

Mrs. Maggie Day Green, age 87, of Danielsville, GA, formerly of Buford, GA, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2014. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Peggy Green Harrison. She is survived by her children, Clinton and Marie Green, Auburn, GA, Lamar and Peggy Green, Buford, GA, Jackie and Dale Green, Danielsville, GA, Davy and Linda Green, Braselton, GA, Patsy Samples, Buford, GA and Vickie and Danny Brannon, Pendergrass, GA; son-in-law, Lonnie Harrison, Buford, GA; sister, Louise Day Jones, Sugar Hill, GA; thirty-eight grandchildren; thirty-five great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Green was born March 7, 1927, in Atlanta, GA. She was retired from Gwinnett County Public Schools. She was a member of the Buford Church of God.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2014, at the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Joey Grizzle officiating. Interment will follow at New Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery, Buford, GA.
