Christine Davis

Christine Davis, age 80 of Gainesville, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following injuries sustained in an automobile accident.


Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 3:30 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Alta Vista Cemetery. Reverend David Lewis will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 from 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Davis was born June 30, 1933 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late William Campbell and Callie Evans Campbell. She was a homemaker and a member of Harmony Hall Baptist Church. Christine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harold Davis and her daughters, Beverly Grogan, Teresa Hood and Regina Mutter.

Mrs. Davis is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Phillip & Vicky Grogan of Gainesville, her son, Anthony Grogan of Gainesville, sister, Deloris Welborn of Gillsville, sister & brother-in-law, Mary Ellen & George Pittman of Gainesville, sister, Inez McElhannon of Monroe, Georgia, 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
