Elizabeth Mary McNulty Gilstrap, age 60 of Gainesville, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at her residence following an extended illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Earl Pirkle will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 from 6 - 9 pm at the funeral home.
Ms. Gilstrap was born November 15, 1953 in Sacramento, California to the late James Vincent McNulty and Florence McShane McNulty. She was retired from the City of Gainesville, Tax Department and was of the Catholic faith. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, her niece, Rene Minor and brother-in-law, Everett Minor. She considered her sister, Patricia and late brother-in-law, Everett Minor as her parents. Although Maureen, David and Kim was her nieces and nephew, she thought of them as her brother and sisters. Elizabeth was a loving mother, grandmother and friend.
Ms. Gilstrap is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law, Rhonda & Caney English of Demorest, Alisha & Rodney Etris of Clermont and Leigh-Anne & Jared Hodge of Gainesville, grandchildren, Hannah Etris, Maverick English, Jesse English and Nathaniel Etris, sister, Patricia Minor of Gainesville, brother, James McNulty of California, nieces, Maureen Howe of Virginia and Kim Miller of Lula and nephew, David Minor of Gainesville.
