Jean Marie Butts

Mrs. Jean Marie Butts, age 83, of Gainesville passed away Friday, April 11, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Services and Interment will be Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at 2:00 p.m., Central Time at Serenity Memorial Gardens in Theodore, Alabama.

Mrs. Butts was born November 16, 1930 to the late Mitford & Natalie Downey in Putnam, Alabama. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Flowery Branch.
Mrs. Butts was preceded in death by her husband, Odell Butts.

Survivors include: daughter, Jeanette Emmerich of Gainesville; grandchildren, Gary Jordan and Donald Emmerich; great-grandson, Caleb Jordan; and sister Shirley Spikes of Theodore, Alabama.
