William Lamar Bryant

William Lamar Bryant, 53, of Gainesville passed away Thursday April 10, 2014 passed at his sisters residence following an extended illness.


Funeral services will be held Saturday April 12, 2014 at 3:00pm from the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Coley, Rev. John Bryant, and Rev. Tony Ewing officiating. Interment will follow in Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 6pm-9pm at the funeral home.


Mr. Bryant was born July 30, 1960 in Commerce GA to William Carroll Bryant and Doris Grantom. He was employed by Koch Trucking Company as a driver and a member of Prospect Baptist Church.


Mr. Bryant is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Tommy and Tonya Ewing of Gainesville, daughter and son-in-law Tracy and Darrell Gilstrap of Gainesville, son and daughter-in-law Rev. Tony and Jennifer Ewing of Gainesville, mother and step father Doris and Richard Grantom of Toccoa, 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, sister Carolyn Bryant of Athens, 2 nieces and 1 nephew, fiancé Marie Andrade of Gainesville.



Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA 30504 is in charge of arrangements.
