Edith Angela Ashe Pirkle,

Edith Angela Ashe Pirkle, 90, of Cumming, GA died on Wednesday, April 9, 2014. Born in Hayesville, NC she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Manaughta Ashe. Angela's thoughtfulness, warm smile, twinkling eyes and spicy sense of humor will be missed by all.

Angela is survived by her children, David W. (Joyce) Pirkle, Jr. of Roswell, GA, Nancy (Charles) Little of Cumming, GA and Patricia Pirkle Coury also of Cumming, GA; grandchildren, David (Shannon) Simpson, Alisha (Daniel) Goldsworthy, David Pirkle, III and Elizabeth (Peter) Cook; and great-grandchildren, James, Julia, Tyler and Ella. Angie is also survived by her niece, Trudy Burns; her sister-in-law, Janet Ashe; her nephew, Allen Ashe, and her great-nephew, Samuel.

A Celebration of Angela's life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 12, 2014 in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:00
