Brenda Ann Rider

Brenda Ann Rider, age 48 of Commerce, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at BJC Hospital in Commerce, following a brief illness.


Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Jason Hunter will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 11, 2014 from 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Rider was born June 10, 1965 in Decatur, Georgia. She was employed with Tiger Direct as a supervisor and was of the Baptist Faith. Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Scott Rider.

Mrs. Rider is survived by her son, Cody Parker of Oakwood, her fiancé, Terry Minish of Commerce, her parents, Ronald & Syble Stephens of Carnesville, Georgia, father, Charles Stephens of Pine Knot, Kentucky, sisters, Elaine Stephens of Seneca, South Carolina, Marie Bailey of Lake Hartwell, Georgia, Barbie Buckley of Carnesville, Georgia and Debbie Hughes of Dublin, Georgia and her brother, Chuck Stephens of Royston, Georgia.
