Mildred Helen Ivester Hallford

Funeral services for Mildred Helen Ivester Hallford, age 87, of Clarkesville will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 from the Hillside Memorial Chapel. Rev. Tony Kemp will officiate with interment to follow the service in Yonah Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Hallford died Monday, April 7, 2014.

Born in Habersham, County on July 30, 1926, Mrs. Hallford was the daughter of the late Arthur Otis Ivester, Sr. and Annie Mae Black Ivester. Mrs. Hallford was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church and she was retired from Johnson & Johnson, Inc. where she worked in the suture department. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hallford is preceded in death by her husband Vermon Lee Hallford, sister Betty Joan Ivester, and brothers Truett Douglas Ivester, and Arthur Otis Ivester, Jr.

Survivors include daughter and son in law Jill and Charles Bradley of Clarkesville, sisters Peggy Sanders and Freda Whitner of Clarkesville and Jo Pennington of Richmond, Virginia, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
