Betty Gene Shoffeitt

Betty Gene Shoffeitt, age 65 of Braselton, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at New Horizon's Limestone following an extended illness.


A celebration of her life is scheduled for Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Hillside Gardens Cemetery. Reverend James Kanaday will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 from 4 - 8 pm at the funeral home.

Ms. Shoffeitt was born January 26, 1949 in Cleveland, Georgia to John Henry Shoffeitt and Imogene Etris Voyles. Betty was the owner of "Betty's Personal Care". She loved people and wanted to help them.

Ms. Shoffeitt is survived by her daddy & step-mother, John Henry & Glenda Shoffeitt of Dahlonega, her mother, Imogene Etris Voyles of Braselton, her brothers & sisters-in-law, Eugene Cagle of Lula, Joe & Loyce Shoffeitt of Cleveland, James & Anna Shoffeitt of Dahlonega and Johnny Shoffeitt of Dahlonega, her sisters & brothers-in-law, Geneva & Larry Jones of Flowery Branch, Joyce & Bobby Southers of Gainesville and Cheryl Knapp of Gainesville.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Northeast Georgia, 2150 Limestone Parkway, Suite 222, Gainesville, Georgia 30501 or your favorite charity.
