Loretta R. Skwara

Loretta R. Skwara, 79, of Cumming, GA died on April 3, 2014 at Northside Hospital Forsyth. Born in Brownville Junction, ME she was the daughter of the late Chester and Geneva Russell. She was also preceded in death by her son, Alan Ross Skwara.

Loretta was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. A long-time resident of Peabody, MA she retired from teaching at Peabody High School and lived in Brooksville, FL. She and her husband, Anthony, moved to Cumming in 2011.

In addition to her beloved husband, Anthony Skwara, Loretta is survived by her daughters, JoAnn (Ken) Ogilvie of Franklin, MA and Carol Ann (Blaine) Davis of Cumming, GA; sisters, Sheila Kelley of Marion, SC and Linda (Ronald) Thomas of Brooksville, FL; and much-loved grandchildren, Courtney, Joshua, and Zachary Davis.

Memorial Mass will held at 11:00 am on Monday, April 7, 2014 at The Church of the Good Shepherd.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Loretta's memory to Forsyth County Meals on Wheels, 595 Dahlonega Street, Cumming, GA 30040.
