Daisy Hazel Ayers Bell

Mrs. Daisy Hazel Ayers Bell, age 76 of Gainesville, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, April 4, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Mike Gilleland will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 3, 2014 from 2 - 4 pm and 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bell was born June 27, 1937 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Earnest Ayers and Mamie Head Ayers. She was a 1954 graduate of Lula High School, retired from Reliance Electric Company and was of the Baptist Faith. Preceded in death by her mother and father, Earnest and Mamie Ayers, sister, Joann Turner, grandchildren, Jason Edge and Jill Edge, great-granddaughter, Abbey Collins.

Mrs. Bell is survived by her husband, James Bell of Gainesville, daughters & sons-in-law, Debbie & Reverend Mike Gilleland of Gainesville and Robin & Mike Sosebee of Gainesville, daughter, Cathy Bell of Bethlehem, Georgia, grandchildren, Brandi Barnes, Jamie Ansbro, Jan Smith, Haley Collins and Chase Simpson, 12 great-grandchildren and brother & sister-in-law, Ralph & Evelyn Smith of Gainesville.
