John 'Alan' Martin

John "Alan" Martin, age 58 of Gainesville, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2014 in Atlanta.


Memorial services are scheduled for Friday, April 4, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Father Paul Flood will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 3, 2014 from 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Martin was born August 29, 1955 in Atlanta, Georgia to George R. Martin and Elizabeth Case Martin. He was employed with PC&E as Fleet Manager and was preceded in death by his father, George R. Martin.

Mr. Martin is survived by his wife, Patti Martin of Gainesville, mother, Elizabeth "Libby" Martin of Gainesville, son, Christopher Alan Martin of Dawsonville, daughter, Laura Martin of Pasadena, California and his sister, Angela "Angel" Cochran of Gainesville.
