Florrie George Poole

Mrs. Florrie George Poole, age 93, of Dahlonega, GA, died Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Gold City Convalescent Center in Dahlonega following a period of declining health.

Florrie was born in East Point, GA January 16, 1921. She had lived in the Dahlonega area for over 20 years and was a former resident of Lilburn, GA. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

She was the daughter of the late Issac and Dora Llewallen George and was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank David Poole and seven siblings.

Florrie is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Wayne Hudson, Suches, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Rosemary Poole, Dahlonega, GA; grandchildren and spouses, Keith and Lynda Hudson, Laura and Rob Davis, Ian and Jasmine Poole, & Caleb Poole. 8 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren, and a number of other relatives also survive.

A graveside funeral service is scheduled for 11 AM Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Suches, GA.

Rev. Lewis Gregory will officiate.

A memorial service will follow at R Ranch in the Mountains Chapel in Dahlonega at 1 PM on Tuesday.
