Mrs. Mary Inez Grindle, age 87 of Gainesville, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, March 30, 2014 at 3:30 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Jeff Morgan will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 29, 2014 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Sunday, March 30, 2014 from 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Grindle was born November 27, 1926 in New Holland, Georgia to the late Bethel Fernando Wilson and Beulah Pittman Wilson. She and her husband, Ernest Ledford Grindle, owned and operated the Gainesville Vending Company for many years. Mrs. Inez was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ernest Ledford Grindle, her sisters, Beatrice Nix, Floye Riley and Florence Morgan, her brothers, Clinton Wilson and Bobby Gene Wilson and her nephew, Michael Riley.
Mrs. Grindle is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kay & Doug Ivester of Atlanta, her nephews and their families, Charles Nix, Greg Morgan, Jeff Morgan, Ron Grindle and the family of Michael Riley, all of Gainesville.
