Robert A. Mann

Robert A. Mann, age 83, of Dahlonega, GA died Thursday, March 27, 2014 following an extended illness.

Robert lived in Dahlonega, GA since 1995, after moving from Atlanta, GA. He retired from the United States Postal Service and was a member of Dahlonega Church of God.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Mann; father, Cecil Mann; mother, Lillian Mann and granddaughter, Cammie Black.

He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Ann and Bill Black, Blue Ridge, GA, Linda & Fred Dickerson, Dahlonega, GA; sisters and brother-in-law, Linda Gray, Jasper, GA, Lynette and Ron Kennedy, Lafayette, LA; grandchildren, Sheila Reinert and Fiancé James Freeman, Orrville, OH, Robert & Bella Reinert, Munich, Germany, Marsha Dickerson and Fiancé Jamie Blackwell, Dahlonega, GA, Angel Edwards, Blue Ridge, GA; great-grandchildren, Alexandra, Samantha, Brandon, Anita May, T.J., Amy, Andrew, Austin and Anna; great- great grandchildren, Geoffrey, Cameryn, Isaac, Nicholas, Megan, and Eli. A number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Robert are scheduled for 11AM Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Banister Funeral Home Chapel, Dahlonega, GA.

Rev. Larry Henry will officiate.

Interment will follow at River View Memorial Park cemetery, Smyrna, GA.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega on Friday, March 28, 2014 from 6 PM until 9 PM and again on Saturday, March 29, 2014 from 9 AM until time of service.
