Helen Shaw

Mrs. Helen Shaw, 87, of Buford, GA passed away on March 24, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-four years, James S. Shaw. She is survived by her children, James R. and Helen Shaw, Asheville, NC, Susan S. and Sam Shepard, Winston, GA, Stephen H. and Lisa Shaw, Statham, GA; nine grandchildren, Kelli and Jason Peebles, Jennifer and Brandon Stevenson, Michele and Richard Berg, Scott and Angelia Shepard, Samantha Tanner, Rebecca and Blake Howell, Geoffrey Shaw, Greg and Andrea Shaw, Matthew Shaw; ten great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Shaw was born June 24, 1926 in Concord, GA. She was a 1942 graduate of Pike County High School. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 30, 2014 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Day officiating. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 12:00 noon until the time of service.
