Brenda Gail 'B.G.' Davis

Brenda Gail "B.G." Davis, 63, of Dawsonville passed away Monday March 24, 2014 at her residence following a brief illness.

Born Oct. 7, 1950 to the late Clinton and Lucille Dingee, she had been a resident of Dawsonville for the past 25 years. A hairstylist for many years, she was the original owner of 53 Hairport and most recently employed at Cooter's Cuts. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Sidney Dingee and sister, Arlene Carrol.

Surviving are her husband of 26 years, Larry Davis, Dawsonville; daughters and son in law, Jackie Gibson, Cindy Cox, Wendy Robertson, Kelly and Josh Mulkey; sons and daughters in law, Jeremy and Tracy Davis, Kelsey and Jamie Davis; sister, Vivian Garrett; brother and sister in law, Demsey and Carrie Dingee, special brother in law, Raleigh Carrol; grandchildren, Heather, Cody, Jeffrey, Melody, Justin, Dylan, Brannon, Angel, Dustin and wife Jamie, David, Abigal, Larry, Zack, Colin; great-grandson, Brayden; nephews, Bobby, Marc, Eric, Derek; a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Friday March 28, 2014 at 2 o'clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Josh Mulkey and Rev. Chris White will officiate.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 until 9 and on Friday until the funeral hour.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Northeast Georgia, 2150 Limestone Parkway, Suite #222, Gainesville, GA 30501.
