Richard Lee Steindam

Richard Lee Steindam, 70, of Cumming, GA passed away on March 12, 2014. Born in Port Clinton, OH, he was preceded in death by his parents, Karl and Angela Steindam; sister, Kathryn Steindam.

He is survived by his loving wife, Constance Graham Steindam of Cumming, GA; daughter, Heather Litten of Atlanta, GA; daughter, Camille and David Hoffman of Sydney, AU; brother, Dennis and Nancy, Steindam of Glendale, AZ; brother, Gerald Steindam of Port Clinton, OH; grandsons, Andrew Litten, Ellis and Josiah Hoffman.

Dick was a graduate of BGSU (OH) with a Business Administration/Accounting degree. After he was born again, he and Constance opened The Village Preacher Christian Bookstore in 1975 in Bowling Green (OH). Later, he became CFO in three Ohio school districts. He was Business Administrator for CFNI in Dallas, TX. He owned a commercial and domestic cleaning business (Green Earth Cleaning), retiring on February 14 2014.

Dick was a fitness enthusiast, lifting weights, running, biking, kayaking, hiking. In his youth, he was an Eagle Scout, taught life-saving classes, and lettered in high school sports. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan.

Dick was always involved in his local church in leadership positions. He and Constance helped start Assembly of God and Vineyard churches in Ohio. Dick traveled to Russia in 1990 and Romania in 1993 leading outreach teams, sharing the Gospel. Most recently, Dick was a member of North Point Ministries and Browns Bridge Community Church, serving as a small group leader and host team captain. Dick loved Jesus, his family and the people of God.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Browns Bridge Community Church, 3860 Browns Bridge Road, Cumming, GA.
