Mr. Lewis Earnest House, 71 of Gainesville died Saturday March 15, 2014 at New Horizons Limestone.
Born in Chamblee, Georgia, Mr. House was the son of the late Blanton F. and Maude Cagle House. He went to Chamblee High School and also Southern Tech in Marietta. Mr. House had lived in Hall County for a number of years working for Paris-Dunlap Hardware, Jackie Worley Construction and also served as a fireman for the City of Gainesville.
Survivors include his wife, Susie Dale Pierce House, Gainesville; son, Lane Lewis House, Gainesville; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Frances House, Gainesville; Henry and Louise House, Gillsville; special nieces, Charlene Hall and Cathy Wragg also survive.
Mr. House is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, Henry and Sarah Martin Cagle and Mr. & Mrs. Toby House.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday March 20, 2014 at Springway Baptist Church. Rev. Jeff Morgan and Rev. Junior Jones will officiate. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Tuesday March 18 and Wednesday March 19 from 6-8 p.m.
