Margie Cowart Thompson

Mrs. Margie Cowart Thompson, age 80, of Dacula, GA passed away on Friday, March 14, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, C. L. Thompson, and son, Donnie Thompson. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Trinket Thompson, Dacula, GA; daughter-in-law, Dianne Thompson, Buford, GA; grandchildren, Cody Thompson, Seth Thompson, Austin Thompson, Levi Thompson, Dallas Thompson, Jack Thompson, Cheryl Gudz and Kevin Thompson; three great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Cowart Etheridge, Buford, GA; Doris Cowart Bishop, Hoschton, GA; sisters-in-law, Polly and Robert Treadway, Roswell, GA; Bobbie and Leroy Jinks, Dawsonville, GA; Ruth Cowart, Cumming, GA and Brenda Cowart, Cumming, GA; brother-in-law, Hoyt and Frances Thompson, Montana. Mrs. Thompson was born October 29, 1933. She was a retired cafeteria worker at Hull Middle School in Duluth, GA. She was also a seamstress for Dick Lynott Company for thirty years. She was of the Baptist faith.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 17, 2014 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Lamar Hansard officiating. Interment will follow at Peachtree Memorial Park, Norcross, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, March 16, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
