Paul W. Chambers

Paul W. Chambers, age 79, of Buford, GA passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2014. He is survived by his wife of thirty-four years, Linda S. Chambers, Buford, GA; children, Patricia and Rand Walker, Virginia Beach, VA, Craig and Barbara Chambers, Dayton, OH, Sheryl and Malcolm Smoot, Tipp City, OH and Leigh Anne and James Gilliam, Buford, GA; four grandchildren, William Brockman, Jordan Rudd, Hannah Gilliam and Sarah Gilliam; several nieces and cousins. Mr. Chambers was born November 28, 1934 in Dayton, OH. He was a 1951 graduate of Martinsville, OH High School. He was retired from Accounts Receivable Management as a patient account manager with over thirty years of service. He was an avid sports fan. He was a member of Buford First United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Buford First United Methodist Church Youth Program, P. O. Box 289, Buford, GA 30515, in memory of Paul W. Chambers.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Dr. Sondra Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, March 17, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
