Mary Lucille Maddox

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Mary Lucille Maddox, age 86, of Winder, who passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2014. Mrs. Maddox was born in Dolomite, AL, a daughter to the late Grady Britton Crane and the late Dora Elizabeth Frix Crane. Mrs. Maddox was a member of Bethabra Baptist Church and then Maranatha Baptist Church in Jefferson. Mrs. Maddox was retired from Barrow Manufacturing, where she was a seamstress. Her husband, Rev. Sam Maddox, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter and son in law, Donna and Doyle Albea, Winder, sister, Geraldine Barrett, Monroe, brother, L.C. Crane, Laurens, SC, grandchildren, Andy (Christina) Albea, Braselton, Michael (Michelle) Albea, Winder, great grandchildren, Macon, Alex, Chloe, Carson, Jami and Ava.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 2:00pm in the Galilee Christian Church with Rev. Don Pennington officiating. The visitation will be from 12noon-2pm on Friday at Galilee Christian Church, prior to the service.
