Robert Moss Youngblood

Robert Moss Youngblood, age 90, of Cumming, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2014. He was a deacon at Shady Grove Baptist Church for 64 years. Loved his church where he was a Sunday School Teacher and Song Leader. Robert loved gospel music. He served his country in the United States Navy and was a veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lois Morgan Youngblood, parents, Herschel Clifton and Velvie Lelah Cagle Youngblood and brother, Ralph Youngblood.

He is survived by his children, June and Truel Martin, Joyce and Loyd Shadburn and Jimmy and Delilah Youngblood all of Cumming; brother, Rev. Herbert Youngblood of Cumming; sister, Corene Thornton of Canton; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Funeral Services will be Monday, March 10, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Reverends, Ruel Martin, Robert Marin, Paul Bagley and Allen Swafford officiating. Interment to follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday, March 9, 2014 from 11:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. and on Monday from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service.
