Linda Diane Thomas

Mrs. Linda Diane Thomas age 64 of Cleveland passed away Saturday, March 08, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Mrs. Thomas was born in Habersham County the daughter of Virginia Sims York and the late Hubert York. She was retired from the White County Health Department and was a member of The Bridge Church. Mrs. Thomas loved her husband, kids, and grandkids and enjoyed quilting and gardening.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Thomas, Cleveland; son and daughter in law, Jason and Karen Thomas, Cleveland; daughter and son in law, Laura and Jamie Smith, Cleveland; grandchildren, Jedd Thomas, Emily Smith, Caroline Smith, Micah Smith, all of Cleveland; mother, Virginia York, Cleveland; brothers and sisters in law, Knox and Glenda York, Gary and Bonnie York, all of Sautee; sister, Brenda York, Demorest; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday March 11, 2014 at The Bridge Church. The Rev. Patrick Ballington, the Rev. Chris Anderson and the Rev. Jamie Smith will officiate. Interment will be at Gateway Memory Park.

The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
