Michael C. Cheek

Michael C. Cheek, age 58, of Winder, GA passed away on March 6, 2014. He was preceded in death by his father, Lankford Cheek, and his mother, Mae Ashby. He is survived by his wife of thirteen years, Zoe Cheek, Winder, GA; sisters, Robin Cheek, Winder, GA and Wendy Ashby, Auburn, GA; brothers, Phillip Cheek, Taylorsville, GA and Allen Ashby, Auburn, GA; uncles, Billy and Evelyn Cheek, Lawrenceville, GA and James Cheek, Bethlehem, GA; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Cheek was born on July 7, 1955, in Duluth, GA. He received his education from Duluth High School. He was employed with Georgia Avionics, Inc. for twenty-five years. He was a member of Friends of Bill W., Gwinnett Room. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2014, at 3:00 p.m. at the Friends of Bill W., Gwinnett Room, 191 Plainview Drive, Lawrenceville, GA 30046, with Rev. Barry Carter officiating.
