W.T. Nunn

Mr. W.T. Nunn, age 82, of Commerce, GA died Thursday, March 6, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Nunn was born in Carnesville, GA to the late Willie and Fara Evans Nunn. Mr. Nunn was a United States Army Veteran and was retired from Westinghouse. In addition to his parents, Mr. Nunn was preceded in death by his brothers, Jack Nunn, Raymond Nunn, Nelson Nunn and Vernon Nunn.

Mr. Nunn is survived by his sons, Tony Nunn of Commerce, Terry Nunn of Jefferson and Tim Nunn of Commerce; daughter, Elaine Strickland of Danielsville; sister, Betty Brown of Toccoa; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and Dawn Dowd.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Saturday, March 8 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Payton Dowd, Rev. David Sharpton and Mr. Mark Fitzpatrick officiating. Interment will follow in Jackson Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday night from 6 to 8 PM.
