Hazel Bailey Chesser, 91, of Buford, GA passed away Thursday, March 06, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Ollie Bailey, husband, Arnold G. Chesser and sisters, Verna Rolin and Vera Mae Bailey. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Gail Chesser, Doraville,GA, Tim and Kathy Chesser, Delaware, OH; grandchildren, Mindy and Ed Kennedy, Brian and Mandi Chesser, Donald and Christine Chesser, Sam and Lindley Chesser; great-grandchildren, Joseph, Thomas, Abbie, Cody, Taylor, Xander and Jaden; brothers J.W. and Nell Bailey, Buford, GA, Larry and Doris Bailey, Cleveland, GA and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Chesser was born December 28, 1922 in Buford, GA. She was a graduate of Sugar Hill High School and was a homemaker. Mrs. Chesser was a member of Sugar Hill Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Chesser officiating. Interment will follow at North Atlanta Memorial Park, Doraville, GA. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 7, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.
