Wendell Tony Meeks

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday March 8, 2014 in Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Wendell Tony Meeks, 60, of Gainesville. The Rev. Harold PettyJohn, Jr. and Rev. Lester Haynes will officiate. Interment will follow in Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Meeks passed away March 4, 2014.



Mr. Meeks was preceded in death by his father, Morgan Phillip Meeks, brothers, Douglas Meeks and Melvin Meeks.



Survivors include Mother, Bobbie Evans Meeks, Gainesville; sisters, Kathy Stephens, Patti Nash, Cleveland, Angie PettyJohn, Talmo; brothers, Timmy Meeks and Freddie Meeks, Blairsville; and a number of other relatives.
