Harry William 'Dick' Bush

Harry William "Dick" Bush, age 84, of Mt. Airy, Georgia, formerly of Broxton, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2014.

Mr. Bush was born on September18, 1929, in Tampa, Florida; son of the late Clarence A. and Emma Lee Williams Bush. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Thelma Brady Bush; second wife, Patsy Kelly Bush; brothers Bill Bush and Buck Bush; son in law, Ken Hamric. Mr. Bush attended both the Baptist and Methodist churches. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in the Korean Conflict. Mr. Bush was a retired diesel mechanic with The Greyhound bus line and was the owner of Bush Bus Diesel.

Survivors include his daughters and sons in law, Merry Carol and Harold Scott, Mt. Airy, Becky and Steve Crowe, Danielsville; daughter, Fran Hamric; step-daughters, Kelly Krekemeyer, Winder, Karen Sheffield, Lawrenceville, Kathy Sheffield, Lawrenceville; son , Harry William Bush II, Mableton; step-son and step daughter in law, Timothy and Paulette Sheffield, Lawrenceville; brother, Jack Bush, Broxton; grandchildren, Amanda Crowe, Adam Crowe, Adrianna Crowe, Daniel Kelly, Nora Jean Bush, Bradley Krekemeyer, Katrina Krekemeyer, Shane Krekemeyer, Marcus Moncayo, Brandon Moncayo, Jason Sheffield, Cameron Sheffield and four great grandchildren.

Memorial services are scheduled for 6 p.m., on Friday, March 7, 2014 at Glad Tidings Assembly of God, Toccoa, Georgia with Rev. Ken Kelly, and Rev. Harry Michael officiating. A second memorial service will be held on at Oak Grove Methodist Church, Broxton, Georgia on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 4 pm with Rev. Ken Kelly and Rev. Harry Michael Officiating.

The family will receive friends at Glad Tidings Assembly of God immediately following the memorial service.
