Charles Elliott Castleberry

Charles Elliott Castleberry, age 77, formerly of Cumming, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Northside Hospital Forsyth. He was a lifelong member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. Mr. Castleberry was born on January 21st, 1937 and was the son of Cecil and Mayrell Emmett Castleberry. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Emmett Edward (Bud) and Robert Douglas Castleberry.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Frances D. Castleberry of Ball Ground; daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Ricky Reece of Ball Ground; grandchildren, Amanda and Bobby Coppage of Powder Springs, Allison and Lonnie Hawkins of Canton; sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Charles Dollyhigh of Cumming; brother, Jerry Castleberry of Cleveland; sister-in-law, Lorene Castleberry Bennett of Cumming. Mr. Castleberry was also the proud great-grandfather of Reece, Avery and Zander Coppage and Hunter Hawkins. He was the beloved uncle to his many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 7th at 11:00 am at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clyde Boling and Rev. Cecil Wheeler officiating. Interment will follow in Mars Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Thursday from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Friday from 9:00 am until hour of the service.
