G.W. Wilson

Mr. G.W. Wilson, age 99, of Nicholson died Sunday, March 2, 2014 at his residence.

Mr. Wilson was born in Nicholson to the late, William Preston and Estelle Kenny Wilson. Mr. Wilson was retired Nicholson postmaster, former Boy Scout Leader for Troupe # 136, US Army Veteran, and a member of the Christian Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wilson was also preceded in death by his wife, Mozell Howington Wilson, and sons, Don and Wendell Wilson.

Mr. Wilson is survived by his daughters, Helen Farmer of Nicholson and Evelyn Christian of Jefferson; sons, Allen and Jimmy Wilson both of Nicholson; sister, Eutell Nix of NC; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held Wednesday, March 5 at 4:00 PM from Howington Cemetery with Rev. Marshall Bruner officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday night from 6-8 PM.
