Shirley Geary DeFriece

Shirley Geary DeFriece, 82, of Winder, GA passed away on February 27, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny H. DeFriece, son, John Henry DeFriece Jr., parents, Robert and Gladys Geary and sister, Barbara Byrd. She is survived by her children, William Maurice Clayton, Buford, GA, Geary Wayne Clayton, Eatonton, GA, Deborah Ann Miller, Livermore, CA and Joseph Anthony DeFriece, Winder, GA; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Peggy Nevins, CA; brother, Frank Geary, AZ; sister-in-law, Ruby DeFriece, Cleveland, TN; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. DeFriece was born February 15, 1932 in Gary, IN. She had once lived in Cleveland, TN for over twenty years. Mrs. DeFriece was a retired secretary from Insurance Services office in Atlanta for fifteen years. A private interment will be held at McIntyre Cemetery in Birchwood, TN at a later date.
