Jerry Earl Dockery

Mr. Jerry Earl Dockery, age 65 of Dahlonega, GA passed away on February 27, 2014. Mr. Dockery was born on November 27, 1948 in White County to the late Earl Robert and Carolton Satterfield Dockery. Mr. Dockery was a farmer and employed with Fieldale Farms for over 35 years. He will always be remembered for the love he had for his family and for his farm.



Mr. Dockery was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Lois Miller Dockery; daughters Cindy and Kevin Bierschenk and Lisa and Jason Moore; step daughters Tammy and Ricky Bruce, Cecilia and Tim Copp; brothers and sisters in law, Jerrell and Debbie Dockery, Tony and Rhonda Dockery; brother Joel Dockery; sister, Janice Head; sister and brother in law, Kathy and Ronnie Roberts; grandchildren Emma Moore, Lauren and Ashley Bierschenk; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins.






The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, March 1, 2014 from 4 until 9 PM and on Sunday, March 2, 2014 from 12:30 until the funeral hour. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at 3 PM in the funeral home chapel with Revs. Mike Borchert and Tommy Preston officiating. Interment will be held at Mt. Pleasant UMC.



In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial donation be made to Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church.
