Charles William 'Chuck' Forbes, III

Charles William "Chuck" Forbes, III, age 60, of Cornelia, passed away Friday, February 14, 2014.
Born on December 14, 1953 in Logan County, West Virginia, he was a son of the late Charles William, Sr. and Emojean Workman Forbes. Mr. Forbes was a member of B.C. Grant Baptist Church and attended The Torch Worship Center. He works as a team leader with Global Tech and enjoyed ball games, Nascar racing and wrestling.
Survivors include wife of 16 years, Chris Forbes of Cornelia; son & fiancée, Justin Forbes and Ashley Tully of Madison, West Virginia; son, Jeff L. Swanner of Cornelia; daughter, Amanda Swanner of Cornelia; grandchildren, Jayda Forbes, Haley Forbes, Nicky Forbes, Aeron Forbes, Josiah Swanner, Amarah Knox and Davian Knox all of Cornelia as well as Kaisinn Forbes and Jaxsinn Forbes both of West Virginia; brother and sister-in-law, Keith and Tonya Forbes of Hartwell; nephews and niece, Keith T. Forbes, Preston W. Forbes, Denver A. Forbes and Breanna K. Forbes all of Hartwell; adopted daughter, Toni Cangiolosi Sherman of Cornelia; ex-wife, Jean Ferrell of Madison, West Virginia.
Funeral services are 3:00 pm Sunday, March 2, 2014, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. Doyal Conley and Pastor Mike Franklin officiating.
Interment will follow in B.C. Grant Baptist Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
