John Nathaniel Clark, Jr.,

John Nathaniel Clark, Jr., 91, of Gainesville passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.



A lifetime resident of Hall County, he was the son of the late John Nathaniel Clark, Sr. and Jossie Elizabeth Roberts Clark. He was retired from Fieldale. He attended Rock Hill Congregational Holiness Church.



In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter LouVaughn Clark.



He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Mary Louise Tapp Clark; sons and daughters in law, Nathaniel and Marie Clark of Gainesville, Hayward and Donna Clark of Rome, GA, Terry and Donna Clark of Murrayville; daughters and sons in law, Margaret and Tony Marchbanks of Dahlonega, Lera and Tommy Anderson of Dahlonega; brother, Carlton Clark of Gainesville; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.



A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday February 28, 2014 at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Murrayville Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery. Rev. Hayward Clark and Rev. Paul Milligan will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, February 27, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
