Joseph Knapke

Joseph Knapke, age 21 of Gainesville, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.


Funeral services will be held Friday, February 28, 2014 at 10:30 am at St. Michael Catholic Church with internment to follow in Belvue Cemetery. Father William Canales will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday, February 27, 2014 from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mr Knapke was born April 11, 1992 in Ft. Lewis, Washington to Brian Knapke and Elaine Cantrell Knapke. He served in the Georgia National Guard and was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Karla Knapke of Gainesville, parents, Brian and Elaine Knapke of Gainesville, daughter, Porsche Knapke of Gainesville, sisters, Brittany Knapke, Monica Peppers, Amanda Peppers and Tiffany Peppers, all of Augusta.
