Connie Bettis,

Mrs. Connie Bettis, age 55, of Commerce, GA died Monday, February 24, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital. Mrs. Bettis was born in Gainesville to the late Bud and Sarah Bone Hicks. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bettis was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Hicks.

Mrs. Bettis is survived by her husband, Gerald Bettis of Commerce; sons, Curtiss Bettis and Travis Bettis both of Nicholson, Anthony Bettis of Commerce and Joseph Bettis of Fort Walton Beach, FL; sisters, Shirley Martin of Jefferson, Virginia Seeley of Carnesville and Pam Faulkner of Gainesville; brother, Eddie Hicks of Danielsville; and ten grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Wednesday, February 26 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Sara Pearson officiating. Interment will follow at Woodbine Cemetery, Jefferson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM.
