Mr. Homer Snyder, age 92, of 124 Deer Trail, Martin, Georgia, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2014 at the residence.
A son of the late Homer Floyd and Viola Kelley Snyder, he was born December 28, 1921 in Clarksburg, West Virginia. He was a W.W.II Veteran of The United States Army Air Corps having served as a ball gunner on the B-24. He was a member of the Tugalo Baptist Church and was owner and operator of his wallpaper hanging business for a number of years. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife Doris Bassham Snyder of the home, 2 sons, Kenny Snyder of Martin, GA, Casey & Beverly Snyder of Lawrenceville, GA, and granddaughter, Ryley Snyder.
Funeral services will be 1:30 PM Monday, February 24, 2014 at the Tugalo Baptist Church with The Reverend Harris Pressley officiating. The family will be at the home on Deer Trail, and will receive friends at the Tugalo Baptist Church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until Noon.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Tugalo Baptist Church in memory of Mr. Homer Snyder.

Interment will be Tuesday, February 25, 11:30 AM in the Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA with Military Honors by the U S Air Force Honor Guard. Acree-Davis Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Homer Snyder.
