Larry C. Pitts

Mr. Larry C. Pitts, 64, of Gainesville, GA left to meet his creator and his savior, Jesus Christ after a strong and courageous battle with cancer on February 21, 2014. Mr. Pitts was born in Atlanta on February 1, 1950.

Mr. Pitts was a loving husband to his wife, Rita Pitts, and a devoted father to his two children, Thomas and Shirlee. Thomas is married to Amy Pitts of Gainesville, GA and Shirlee is married to Dustin Marrett of Lula, GA. He was a loving grandfather to four grandchildren, Emilie and John David Pitts, Cole Mulkey and Harley Marrett. Mr. Pitts was a caring brother to Brenda Rivers of Canton, GA; Mark Pitts of Gainesville, GA; Greg and Denise Farr and family of Cumming, GA. Several nieces and nephews also survive. He treasured his friends He was preceded in death by his parents, Curvin and Helen Pitts of Gainesville, GA.

Mr. Pitts worked at MacKlanburg-Duncan for 28 years and attended Bethel Tabernacle Church in Gainesville.

Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 pm on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Bethel Tabernacle Church in Gainesville. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday, February 24 from 5:00
